Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Green Guru Cleaning! By engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Home Preparation:

  • For us to provide efficient and effective service, we kindly request that occupied homes are tidied up upon our arrival. This includes ensuring that toys are picked up, laundry is placed in hampers, and dishes are cleared from sinks.  Unoccupied homes should be free of furniture and trash.  

2. Handling of Waste:

  • We do not handle pet waste or bio waste outside of normal toilet stains as part of our service.

3. Exterior Cleaning Limitations:

  • Our services do not extend to cleaning exterior windows, porches, patios, or any external furnishings.

4. Height Limitations:

  • A three-step ladder is used to access light fixtures, cabinets, windows, and plant shelves. However, our insurance coverage limits us from going beyond this height.

5. Stain and Odor Removal:

  • While we make every effort to eliminate odors, stains, and hard water buildup, please note that not all surfaces can be fully restored due to age and lack of maintenance.

6. Arrival Times:

  • Arrival times provided are approximate. We will make every effort to communicate with you if an early or late arrival is expected, ensuring minimal inconvenience.

7. Liability Limitations:

  • While we strive to provide exceptional service, Green Guru Cleaning shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of our services, except in cases of negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Clients are responsible for putting away and protecting delicate items or those which have excessive value either monetary or sentimental.
  • Clients are also responsible for making it known that their home contains sensitive surfaces such as bamboo and marble which may require special care.
  • Green Guru Cleaning is trusted for the biodegradable and nontoxic cleaners we use.  We will not employ chemicals provided by client's in order to ensure damage does not occur during use of unknown products.

8. Service Modification and Payment:

  • Green Guru Cleaning reserves the right to modify or discontinue services, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice without indemnification.
  • Appointments rescheduled within 24 hours of service are subject to a $29 rebooking fee.
  • Payment is expected once service is rendered.  We accept cash, card, check, Venmo and Zelle for your convenience.  If payment is not received within 24 hours of service, a late fee of $39 will be added to the bill.  Unpaid bills will be sent to debt collection and prohibit you from receiving services in the future.

9.  Eligible discounts

  • Green Guru Cleaning graciously extends 15% discount to retirees and foster families for recurring services.  These discounts cannot be applied to one time cleanings, deep cleanings, move in or move out services.  These discounts also cannot be applied to hourly service.

10. Client Communication:

  • We value open communication with our clients. Please feel free to reach out to the owner, Audrey Talbert at 480-442-9037 with any questions, concerns, or special requests regarding our services.

11. Acceptance of Terms:

  • By engaging with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions including the photo release and implied consent policy.

Residential Membership Terms and Conditions

Thank you for considering our Annual Residential Membership. By enrolling, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Membership Benefits:

  • Service Options: Members can choose between weekly, biweekly, or monthly service options.
  • Included Services: All memberships include four quarterly deep cleans.
  • Scope: Membership applies to whole home cleaning only. Square footage is verified using county records.
  • Initial Cleaning: The first visit is always a deep cleaning to ensure a thorough start to the maintenance program.
  • Annualized Pricing: Allows you to enjoy consistent billing.

2. Pricing, Discounts, and Appointments:

  • Pricing Structure: Pricing is based on square footage and occupancy, with an 18% discount offered as a benefit of membership commitment.
  • Base Prices (Non-Member Rates): Weekly $0.065/sqft, Biweekly $0.075/sqft, Monthly $0.09/sqft, Deep Cleaning $0.18/sqft.
  • Occupancy Rates: Each base price includes 3 occupants and 1 pet. An additional $0.01 is added to the base price for each extra occupant and pet.
  • Value and Savings: Members should refer to their agreement to see the total value of their membership and savings.
  • Additional Cleanings: Cleanings beyond the scope of the membership are available at a 25% discount from retail rates.
  • Appointment Rescheduling: No fee for rescheduling appointments for members. Rescheduled appointments should occur within 5 business days of the recurring appointment time. Skipped appointments are not eligible for credit as the membership price is annualized.

3. Enrollment and Billing:

  • Setup Fee: A nonrefundable account setup fee of $149, which guarantees pricing for 12 months.
  • Monthly Billing: Monthly fees are drafted by ACH (Automated Clearing House) from your bank account on the same calendar day monthly. If your billing date falls on a weekend or holiday, your payment will be drafted on the next available business day.
  • Payment Methods: You are able to pay your monthly recurring bill by card, Venmo, or Zelle early in lieu of ACH auto billing by emailing greenguru520@gmail.com or calling 480-442-9037 at least 5 business days before billing occurs.
  • Late Payments: Any monthly bill or invoice for extra service left delinquent for more than 7 calendar days are subject to a $39 late fee.
  • Returned Payments: Returned payments are subject to a $39 fee.
  • Non-Payment: Memberships experiencing repeatedly unpaid bills or returned payments will result in removal from the maintenance membership at the cost of $149 for early termination and the account being sent to collection as a debt.

4. Service Transfer and Termination:

  • Service Transfer: Membership service is transferable to a new address once per service year, with a required 30-day notice of the change.
  • Termination: Members who move outside of our service area or wish to cease service must provide 30 days notice and pay an early termination fee of $149.

5. General Terms:

  • Applicability: All other terms and conditions outlined in our standard service agreement apply to the Residential Membership.

6. Acceptance of Membership Terms:

  • Acknowledgement: By enrolling in our residential Membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Satisfaction Guarantee

At Green Guru Cleaning, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our services. We stand behind the quality of our work and strive to exceed your expectations with every visit. Our satisfaction guarantee is as follows:

  • Guaranteed Satisfaction: We guarantee your satisfaction with the cleanliness of your home after our services. If you are not completely satisfied with any aspect of our cleaning, please let us know immediately by calling or texting 480-442-9037, and we will make it right.
  • Re-Cleaning Policy: If we are responsible for missing any aspect of the cleaning, we will promptly return to reclean the affected areas at no additional cost to you.
  • Realistic Expectations: We understand that some surfaces may show signs of excessive wear, staining, or lack of consistent maintenance cleaning, which may limit our ability to restore them to perfect condition. However, please rest assured that it is always our goal to achieve the highest level of cleanliness possible.

Compassion Cleaning Terms and Conditions

Application Process

Eligibility for Compassion Cleaning Program

To qualify for the Compassion Cleaning Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Facing a Crisis: Applicants experiencing an unforeseen circumstance or crisis impacting their ability to maintain their home.
  • Financial Hardship: Inability to afford housekeeping services, with proof of financial status such as a SNAP card or Medicaid enrollment required to verify need.
  • Examples of Eligible Circumstances:
    • Health Challenges: Injury or disease significantly affecting physical ability.
    • Legal Involvement: Issues including Department of Child Safety cases or family member incarceration.
    • Mental Health Crisis: Proof of seeking recovery through rehabilitation, therapy, or peer support may be required.

Application Approval and Scheduling Requirements:

  • Biweekly Review: Applications are reviewed biweekly, with eligible participants contacted promptly after review.  
  • Service Offered:  Green Guru will give up to 8 hours of cleaning on site for any approved application.  If the residence requires cleaning exceeding the Compassion Cleaning program offering, additional time may be scheduled for the reduced rate of $30/hour.
  • Initial Scheduling: Approved services must be scheduled within 10 days of approval. If not, the opportunity is given to the next eligible applicant.
  • Follow-Up: If scheduling within 10 days isn't possible, previously approved applicants are kept on file and communication continues for up to 30 days from the application date.
  • Reapplication: Approved applicants who are unable to schedule within 30 days are encouraged to reapply.

Sponsored Services:

  • Third-Party Services: For needs such as landscaping, home repair, and junk hauling, Green Guru directly hires and pays the third-party provider based on the anticipated need of the applicant.
  • Scheduling and Limitations: Scheduling constraints and service limitations with third-party providers are beyond our control.

Policy on Misuse and Fraud:

  • Misuse and Fraud: Any attempt to obtain Compassion Cleaning services dishonestly or fraudulently will result in an invoice for services rendered and, if appropriate, legal action.

Agreement to Terms:

  • Acceptance of Services: Acceptance of services constitutes agreement to all terms and conditions outlined herein.

For Service Provided by Green Guru Directly

Photo Release and Implied Consent

Photo Release Statement

  • At Green Guru Cleaning, we occasionally capture photos of our work to ensure the highest quality of service and to showcase the results of our efforts. We respect our clients' privacy and adhere to strict guidelines regarding the use and dissemination of these images. Below is our photo release statement:

Implied Consent for Internal Use:

  • By engaging with our services, clients implicitly consent to the internal exchange of photos for the sole purpose of ensuring excellent service delivery. These photos may be shared among our team members to facilitate communication and improve our cleaning processes.

Guidelines for Public Media and Marketing Materials:

  • Any photos shared in public media or marketing materials will adhere to strict guidelines to protect our clients' privacy.
  • Participation in the Compassion Cleaning program requires a Photo Release and waiver for use of before and after pictures.

Respect for Privacy:

  • Green Guru Cleaning is committed to respecting our clients' privacy and ensuring that all photos are used responsibly and ethically.
  • We understand the sensitivity of personal information and will always prioritize the confidentiality and security of our clients' homes and belongings.
